ADVOCACY: (EAJ definition) The act of courageously opening your heart and speaking on behalf of, or in support of, an animal, another person, place, or thing.

Advocacy starts with that loud pinprick that swells in your heart and rests in the seat of your soul.

It is a feeling of both empowerment and helplessness.

It requires sensitivity, commitment, and involvement.

It reaps rewards beyond this lifetime as it shapes the world around us.
